 -d, --database DB     database name, default: whois
 -u, --user USER       run as user, default: nobody
 -P, --pidfile FILE    write process id to this file, default: /var/run/whoisd.pid
 -F, --facility NAME   syslog facility, see syslog(3), default: daemon
 -D, --daemon          fork to background
